Military Care Packages Sent

The Nurturing and Sheparding Work Area is always looking to send your loved ones, friends, relatives, etc., who are in the military and that are in a war zone area a care package. The package usually has goodies, hygiene projects and other items in it, just a little something for them from home. Anyone that would like to make a monetary donation, has any questions or a persons name, see either Jeanine and Jim Plitt or you can contact the Church Office at 287-3840, with their name and address, so that the care packages may be sent.

Knit Wits

Prayer Shawls made by Knit Wits blessed and distributed
The Forty Fort United Methodist Church recently held its Holistic Healing Worship Service where Prayer Shawls knitted by the ‘Knit Wits’ were blessed with anointing oil. The Knit Wits have knitted and crocheted more than 544 prayer shawls and have distributed 464. The Knit Wits meet at 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday to knit, pray and enjoy fellowship. Membership is open.
